ART DIRECTION & FULL BRAND IDENTITY

The Chickasaw Leather Care Corporation (CLCC) is the result of an inspired journey into the heart of history’s excellence, paying homage to the rugged beauty and meticulous craftsmanship that define the world of leather care. Our approach was to forge an identity that marries the robust, enduring essence of traditional work with a contemporary maximalist aesthetic. Through innovative textual designs, we've introduced a distinctive visual language that sets CLCC apart in the leather care sector.

ABOUT.

SCOPE OF WORK.

Develop a completely new brand identity and brand story that interacts with the consumer primarily through product packaging design.

BRANDED PRODUCTS.

Specifically for leather care in the toughest conditions. A product for the worker that wakes up before sunrise, lays down after sunset, and needs the performance of their garment to hold steady.

SPARKNOTES.

The brand will become known through a consistent packaging presence.

In today's market, emerging brands must exhibit visual uniqueness to cultivate brand loyalty, a challenge that CLCC has met with an expansive suite of branding elements. Our comprehensive brand strategy encompasses logo designs, diverse applications, intricate design motifs, and a nuanced color palette. The versatility of CLCC's product range addresses a broad spectrum of applications, from the compact to the extensive, showcasing our commitment to versatility and functionality. Our portfolio includes five primary branding marks, eight secondary accents, an extensive line of leather treatment products, and an array of accessories, each contributing to the cohesive and resonant identity of the Chickasaw Leather Care Corporation.

THE PRODUCT LINE.

EDGE WAX.

Edge wax bars are used to seal and protect the brims of cowboy hats so that water, dirt, oil, clay and other naturally occurring elements cannot become embedded between the multiple layers of leather.

CONDITIONER.

Extends the life of all types of leather products (excludes suede, nubuck, and faux leather). A structure similar to hair creams in terms of fluidity and appearance and has a soft neutral smell to blend in with natural habitats.

CREME.

Natural cremes protect and pamper smooth and high gloss leathers. It nourishes leather and intensively revives colours. Typically applied evenly using a dry cloth or soft brush.

CLEANSER.

Removes most oil and water based stains. Hat cleanser is the safe way to protect and restore cowboy hats of any leather and hide.

The essence of the CLCC brand is a salute to the Chickasaw community and all who appreciate the art of leatherwork. It celebrates the unsung artisans who find beauty amidst the grit, who craft elegance out of chaos, and who, in every scuff, mark, and stitch, contribute to a more beautiful world.
